TWLOHA

To write love on her arms is an organization based on hope. Hope for people with addictions and that suffer from depression.
It started with one girls story, and as a way to raise money to pay for her recovery. Now it has helped people world round find hope and ways to get away from addictions. Their main focus is suicide and self injury prevention.
They are completely non-profit and just such a great organization. I can say for a fact that they have helped me in my struggles. Even just seeing one of their shirts on someone is a quick nice reminder I am not alone

A twisted picture

Life is just so intricate and delicate,
and can take turns we never saw coming
in an instant.
Prepare yourself, be surrounded by people you can trust, and people you love and that love you back. Have something to read that lifts you up, no matter what you believe. Have a place where you can cry. And hold on to who you truly are.

YES!

I learned to knit!
I just had to share this fact with you.
I really need to actually take pictures of what I make and post them so no one comes to the conclusion that I am lying. That would be terrible :(

drugs vs. herbs

I just have a short little rant.

I do not understand why doctors want to pack us with drugs when there is so much healthier stuff out there. Pretty much anything can be cured with herbs or essential oils from plants. They could make money off of that stuff too! It isn't cheap! Its not crazy expensive either. But will cause the doctors to have a lot less deaths on their plates from all kinds of later health issues from the side effects of all of these drugs.
Have you seen those comercials on t.v. advertising different medications?

"Take this and it will make your bowel movements more regular! Side effects are nasea vomiting, painful urinating, dizziness, tiredness, irregular heartbeat..." Need I go on?
That isn't an actual list from a commercial, but they are all just as bad as that.
Guess what people! Prunes are fantastic!
I really just have a problem when doctors tell me to take 2 different pain killers so that I am taking 24 a day, when Arnica Montana took care of the pain just fine.

Maybe I should just open an herb shop someday. I'll research more what they all can do, and give people advice so they aren't doom to the evil doctors.

Or what just happened to faith in prayer and in what God can do?
What I believe, is if you have faith in the pills then coarse they will work for you, power of the mind, but because of that they will also draw you in so you get hooked.
Herbal medicine, same thing! Much better, but still the same thing.
Why not get hooked on something that won't just take away your headache?
And I know that sometimes you need more than just a prayer, sometimes you need more than just an herbal tea. But so rarely. So why make it an all the time thing so that when that rare time comes the medicine wont work!

End of my rant for the moment.
